Born in Jiangsu, China in April, 1966. Graduated with a BA degree from Nanjing University.

1988-2004  Staff member, Foreign Affairs Department, General Office of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC);

2004-2005  Deputy Director-General, International Liaison Department, Central Committee of Communist Youth League (CYL);

2005-2008  Director-General, Department of Youth Volunteers, Central Committee of Communist Youth League (CYL);

2008-2009  Director-General, Department of Maintaining the Rights of the Teenagers, Central Committee of Communist Youth League (CYL);

2009-2011  Deputy Secretary of Prefectural Committee of Communist Party of China, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province;

2011-2013  Minister, Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of India;
