Ambassador Zhao urges Chinese enterprises to abide by local laws and ensure project quality

  Speaking at a meeting with representatives of Chinese enterprises in Botswana on 11th December 2017, H.E. Dr Zhao Yanbo, Chinese Ambassador to Botswana urged them to strictly abide by local laws and try all means to ensure project quality.

 

 

  Ambassador Zhao pointed out on one hand that over the past four decades, the economic and trade cooperation between China and Botswana has been expanding fast. The Chinese enterprises especially those construction companies have made irreplaceable contributions to the social and economic development of Botswana.

  Ambassador Zhao on the other hand requested the Chinese companies to continue to strictly abide by local laws and regulations, ensure product and project quality, make joint efforts to safeguard the good image of Chinese in Botswana and promote China-Botswana friendly and cooperative relations to a higher position.

  Ambassador Zhao also interpreted the outcomes and significance of the recent-held 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China for his Chinese compatriots.
