China and Botswana signed a grant agreement on two primary schools

On December 3^rd2007, China and Botswana signed a 10 million RMB (8.1 million Pula) grant agreement on the construction of two primary schools. Chinese Ambassador to Botswana Mr Ding Xiaowen and Botswana finance minister Mr Baledzi Gaolathe signed on behalf of their respective government.

The two schools are some of the 100 rural schools in Africa that China promised to provide during the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation which was held in November last year.
