|Embassy donates to Masitara foundation|
The Chinese Embassy made some donations to the Masitara Foundation at the Boitumelo Primary School in Sebele last week.
The donations were 100 blankets, two television sets and two DVD players.
They were made in the interest of the orphans and children from the impoverished families.
The founding chairman of the foundation, Mr Robert Masitara thanked the embassy for its generous gesture.
“There are children who spend the whole day without anyone to look after them. I hope to build them a hall here within this school premises so that they can spend the day watching TV until their parents return from work in the evening,” said Mr Masitara.
Speaking on behalf of the embassy of the People’s Republic of China, the Acting Ambassador, Mr Gou Haodong promised more donations in the future.
