Assistant Foreign Minister Chen Xiaodong Attends Meeting Between Principal Leaders of Jiangxi Province and Study Group of Diplomatic Envoys of African Countries to China and Other Events

On November 5, 2017, Assistant Foreign Minister Chen Xiaodong traveled to Nanchang, Jiangxi for discussion between Secretary of Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Lu Xinshe and Governor of the People's Government of Jiangxi Province Liu Qi and the study group of diplomatic envoys of African countries to China. He also attended major events during the study group's visit in Nanchang and communicated with the diplomatic envoys.

The African diplomatic envoys to China extended their sincere gratitude to the Foreign Ministry for arranging their visit to Jiangxi upon the closing of the 19th CPC National Congress. They held that Jiangxi is a place carrying special significance in the history of the Chinese revolution and the development and building of the CPC. The visit has further deepened their understanding of China's national conditions, the development of the CPC and the country, and the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress in particular.

The group visit to Jiangxi for the African diplomatic envoys to China is organized by the Secretariat of the Chinese Follow-up Committee of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and attended by 29 ambassadors of African countries to China or chargé d'affaires ad interim.
