Secretariat of Chinese Follow-up Committee of the FOCAC Holds Collective Consultation with African Diplomatic Corps in China

On May 10, 2018, Secretariat of Chinese Follow-up Committee of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) held collective consultation on the preparatory work for the FOCAC Beijing Summit in 2018 with African diplomatic corps in China. The consultation was co-chaired by Secretary General of the Chinese Follow-up Committee of the FOCAC and Director-General of the Department of African Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Dai Bing and South African Ambassador to China Dolana Msimang. South Africa is the co-chair of the FOCAC. 49 diplomatic envoys of African countries to China including head of the delegation of diplomatic envoys of African countries to China and Madagascan Ambassador to China Victor Sikonina attended the consultation. The African Union Commission sent representatives for a special trip to China to attend the consultation for the first time.
