The Secretariat of the Chinese Follow-up Committee of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Holds the Third Collective Consultation with the African Diplomatic Corps in China

On August 8, 2018, the Secretariat of the Chinese Follow-up Committee of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) held the third collective consultation on the preparation work for the 2018 FOCAC Beijing Summit with the African diplomatic corps in China. The consultation was co-chaired by Secretary General of the Chinese Follow-up Committee of the FOCAC and Director-General of the Department of African Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Dai Bing and South African Ambassador to China Dolana Msimang whose country is the co-chair of the FOCAC, and attended by 51 diplomatic envoys or representatives of African countries to China including head of the delegation of diplomatic envoys of African countries to China and Madagascan Ambassador to China Victor Sikonina. Burkina Faso and the African Union Commission, which have not set up embassy or representative office in China, also sent representatives for a special trip to China to attend the consultation.
